The demand for advanced project management skills continues to grow in today's dynamic work environment. Leaders with these skills can balance various factors to achieve project goals and broader business objectives within specific time and budget constraints.
The University of Cape Town (UCT) offers an online short course in Advanced Project Management that delves beyond the basics of project management and prepares individuals to handle more complex tasks. The course emphasises strategic skills, and teaches students how to align project management activities with their organisation's overarching goals to bring about genuine change. Individuals will walk away with a fully developed project charter for their chosen project, including project scope, stakeholder integration, and cost plans.
The course features a practical component that allows students to develop tools they can apply immediately to tackle pressing challenges and enhance their role performance, both presently and in the future. After completing the course, students will earn a UCT-backed digital certificate that confirms their newly acquired advanced project management competencies.

About the certificate
Develop advanced project management skills and earn an official certificate of completion from the University of Cape Town.
Assessment is continuous and based on a series of practical assignments completed online. In order to be issued with a digital certificate, you’ll need to meet the requirements outlined in the course handbook. The handbook will be made available to you as soon as you begin the course.
