Programme overview
Duration: 6 weeks (excluding orientation)
In today's dynamic and challenging business landscape, adopting a strategic approach towards sustainable solutions for organisational survival and growth is crucial. The development of resilience is a key factor in enabling leaders to anticipate, prepare for, and navigate uncertainty, not just to recover from it but to thrive.
The Oxford Leading Through Uncertainty and Disruption: Building Resilient Organisations Programme offers a comprehensive approach to managing disruption at an individual, business, and systemic level. During the six-week programme, you’ll be introduced to Programme Director Eleanor Murray's exclusive 6S framework, which will help you build resilience within the contexts of self, strategy, structures, social elements, supply chains, and systems. Using this framework, you will learn how to integrate a holistic approach to resilience into your organisation's business strategy and operations, identify ways to build strong relationships with stakeholders, and lead effectively through disruptions.
Through the programme, you will also gain access to support structures and networks that will help you develop the skills and mindset needed to thrive as a leader in the face of long-term volatility. Ultimately, you’ll walk away with a strategic plan for building resilience that will ensure the sustainability and longevity of your organisation.
Is this programme for you?
This programme is tailored for leaders in various industries, including private businesses, public organisations, non-profits, and government agencies, who seek to improve their organisation's capacity to adapt and respond to uncertainty. Executives in senior leadership or C-suite positions who aim to remain competitive and ensure the longevity of their organisation will find this programme beneficial. Additionally, these professionals will discover how to turn disruptions into new opportunities, strengthening their organisation's ability to thrive amidst new challenges. Those responsible for enhancing the operational resilience of their companies, such as human resource managers, resilience professionals, and organisational design leaders, will also acquire valuable techniques and tools to assist them in achieving their objectives.
This Oxford Leading Through Uncertainty and Disruption: Building Resilient Organisations Programme is certified by the United Kingdom CPD Certification Service, and may be applicable to individuals who are members of, or are associated with, UK-based professional bodies. The programme has an estimated 60 hours of learning.
Note: should you wish to claim CPD activity, the onus is on you. Oxford Saïd and GetSmarter accept no responsibility, and cannot be held responsible, for the claiming or validation of hours or points.
