Innovation has traditionally been viewed as a means of addressing current challenges brought about by technological disruption. However, future challenges are unlikely to resemble those of the present. As a result, businesses must be equipped with the strategic capacity to respond to unforeseeable challenges in a rapidly changing and unpredictable world. The Oxford Strategic Innovation Programme, designed by leading innovation expert Marc Ventresca, redefines innovation as a tool for managing unpredictable challenges. Through critical thinking and analysis, participants will learn how to incorporate innovation into their organisational design, structure, and culture, allowing them to create adaptable systems that can handle unpredictable situations on a regular basis.
Is this programme for you?
This programme is geared towards high-level business professionals, including entrepreneurs, leaders, consultants, and executives across various industries, who desire to facilitate innovation within their organisations. The programme aims to equip participants with the necessary skills to influence strategy and decision-making, and implement innovative practices within their organisational structure. You'll learn how to create an environment that fosters a culture of innovation in your organisation, resulting in an optimised framework for generating new ideas.
The programme is led by Oxford Saïd faculty and global thought leaders, providing participants with cutting-edge insights and alternative approaches to solving business challenges. The programme is industry-agnostic, providing you with the tools necessary to increase value creation, regardless of your business area or market sector.
This Oxford Strategic Innovation Programme is certified by the United Kingdom CPD Certification Service, and may be applicable to individuals who are members of, or are associated with, UK-based professional bodies. The programme has an estimated 60 hours of learning.
Note: should you wish to claim CPD activity, the onus is on you. Oxford Saïd and GetSmarter accept no responsibility, and cannot be held responsible, for the claiming or validation of hours or points.

The programme has far exceeded my expectations in terms of content, online experience, quality of teaching, and discussion. [I had the] opportunity to learn from an impressive cohort of smart and experienced classmates. I did not expect this level of maturity, being someone very new to the whole notion of online learning. I felt I had unlocked something really precious that could last for a very long time. Having studied on-campus at Oxford, I was expecting some kind of compromised experience having to go online, but the reality has been contrary. I wonder why busy people who have to juggle between family commitments, personal lives, and their career wouldn't consider online learning as a way of self-enrichment and increasing their competitiveness in the job market. Thank you for such a fantastic experience.
