Artificial intelligence (AI) is a rapidly expanding field that is already significantly impacting various sectors of the economy. To gain a comprehensive understanding of AI's potential, it is essential to have a foundational knowledge of the technology. The Oxford Artificial Intelligence Programme is a six-week online programme designed to equip participants with an in-depth understanding of AI's history, functionality, capabilities, and ethical considerations.

Throughout the programme, participants will receive guidance from esteemed faculty members from the University of Oxford, enabling them to develop an informed opinion on the applications of AI. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to reflect on the implications and opportunities of AI in various contexts and build a solid business case for its implementation in their unique organisational setting. By the end of the programme, participants will be well-versed in AI's fundamental principles and equipped to make informed decisions regarding its implementation within their respective organisations.

During this online programme, participants will have the chance to acquire fundamental knowledge about AI without the need for programming skills. Although this is not a technical course, it will help learners develop a basic understanding of AI.

This Oxford Artificial Intelligence Programme is certified by the United Kingdom CPD Certification Service, and may be applicable to individuals who are members of, or are associated with, UK-based professional bodies. The programme has an estimated 60 hours of learning.

About the certificate

Acquire knowledge regarding artificial intelligence and earn an official certificate of attendance from Oxford Saïd.

Assessment is continuous and based on a series of practical assignments completed online. In order to be issued with a digital certificate, you’ll need to meet the requirements outlined in the programme handbook. The handbook will be made available to you as soon as you begin the programme.

Your digital certificate will be issued in your legal name and sent to you upon successful completion of the programme, as per the stipulated requirements.
