Why Study Cybersecurity With Harvard’s VPAL?
The Course Convener on the Cybersecurity course from Harvard’s VPAL, Eric Rosenbach is a global cybersecurity leader who will guide you as you learn to navigate the world of cyber risk mitigation. The Co-Director of the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard Kennedy School, Eric is deeply involved in the design and development of the course, and contributes to course module content in the form of videos, interviews, and expert analyses.
Eric is the Director of the Defending Digital Democracy Project, and has previously served as the Chief of Staff to US Secretary of Defense Ash Carter and as the Assistant Secretary of Defense. He held the position of Chief Security Officer for Tiscali, the largest pan-European internet service provider, and is a former US Army Intelligence Officer.
The course in cyber security features an amazing slate of guest speakers. You’ll learn the latest in cybersecurity threat mitigation from the likes of Debbie Plunkett, former Director of NSA’s Information Assurance Directorate; DJ Patil, former White House Chief Data Scientist; Harold Moss, Senior Director of Strategy and Business Development at Akamai; Heather Adkins, Director of Information Security and Privacy at Google; and Sam Curry, Chief Security Officer at Cybereason.
