Continuing professional development, otherwise known as CPD, is the formal documentation of your learning. In professions like your doctors, your lawyers, your accountants – they’re actually mandated to go through continual professional development. But, the term can be used more loosely to define your own professional development that you decide to pursue and document with or without your company.
